In Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, families composed of “two ethnic groups” or “multiple ethnic groups” account for nearly 60% of the total number of families in the city; as the autonomous region with the largest ethnic minority population in my countryBabaylan, “ethnic relations” have been the highest social development indicator with the satisfaction of the people of Guangxi for many years; while open development, the excellent traditional cultures of all ethnic groups have been effectively protected and inherited…

Unity promotes harmony, unity promotes development. In the 60 years since the founding of the Autonomous Region, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Party committees and governments at all levels in Guangxi have conscientiously implemented the Party’s ethnic policies and solidly promoted ethnic work. More than 56 million people of all ethnic groups are as close as one family, united and worked together to realize the “Chinese Dream”. The land of Bagui has achieved leapfrog development in its economy and society, and people’s lives have undergone historic changes.

and Komiks are united as a family

In history, the status of various ethnic groups in Guangxi has been unequal and conflicts have continued. After the founding of New China, Guangxi gradually established an equal, united, mutually aid and harmonious relationship between people of all ethnic groups. Today, ethnic unity has become a high degree of consensus among the people of all ethnic groups in Bagui, and has been deeply integrated into people’s blood. There is a small Han mountain village called “Sujiazhai” in Madi, Longsheng Autonomous County. The natural conditions are good. The villagers live a wealthy life. The Yao people living on the ridge opposite the village have been living in poverty due to the harsh natural environment. Yao people moved down the mountain to the Han villageAfter the people lived together, the two nations lived in harmony and helped each other. The entire village could almost never close their doors at night, and performed a moving story. Hu Qiuju, secretary of the Party Committee of Mati Township, told reporters that “Sujiazhai” was later renamed “Minhezhai”, which means national harmony.

Since ancient times, many ethnic minorities in Guangxi have not intermarried with other ethnic groups, and some even do not interact with each other. Nowadays, the concept of the masses has undergone profound changes. Census data show that Guangxi has more than 1.3 million families composed of two or more ethnic groups. Especially in places where many ethnic groups such as Longsheng Autonomous County and Longlin Autonomous County are gathered, “a family of nine people and five ethnic groups in love” can be seen everywhere.

Mutual respect, mutual assistance and friendship are like a family, which is a true portrayal of Guangxi’s ethnic relations. Chenshuang Village, Sien Town, Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County lives in three ethnic groups: Maonan, Miao and Yao. Not only does they have no competition or competition, but they actively teach each other the unique planting and breeding technologies of their nation, help each other to develop production together, and their living standards continue to improve.

Every year during the Spring Festival, Miao people in Longsheng County go to Yao villages to play the reeds and Dong people go to Zhuang villages to sing big songs—the exchange performances between villages near each ethnic group become the norm. Villagers said that although Cinema has different ethnic groups, they are like relatives, and the more they go, the closer they get.

In the past, many ethnic minority people only knew their own languages. Now, the popularity of Mandarin in Guangxi reaches 84%. Even in the remote mountains, only elderly people cannot speak Mandarin.

Working together to seek common development

The unity and harmony of all ethnic groups is working hard to promote the comprehensive economic and social development. The land of Bagui has undergone earth-shaking changes, and it has also furtherThe material foundation of national unity has been consolidated: Guangxi’s GDP exceeded 2 trillion yuan, more than 800 times that of 60 years ago; the per capita disposable income of urban and rural residents exceeded 30,000 yuan and 10,000 yuan respectively.

Deep changes are reflected in the details of life of people of all ethnic groups. In Paifangzhai, Licha Village, Sishui Township, Longsheng County, the old Zhuang man Ben Lunhe told reporters that it was not easy to eat meat in the past. Every household had a jar on the stove, which contained a small piece of fat meat. When cooking, they picked up the meat and danced it at the bottom of the pot. They just thought it was oil. A piece of meat should be used repeatedly. When the distinguished guests come, please “dance” a few more times.

“Dance and Two Dances” has become a memoryKomiks recalled that Paifang Zhuangzhai developed ethnic tourism, Benlun and his family opened a farmhouse, and their lives have completely changed. He said that the first thing that was eaten on the dining table at home is fresh vegetables, “No one is willing to use his chopsticks because of big fish and meat.”

Due to various reasons such as nature and history, Guangxi’s ethnic minority settlement areas are generally poor areas. In the process of poverty alleviation, Guangxi has provided targeted support in light of the living environment, customs and resource endowments of various ethnic groups, and has achieved remarkable results in targeted poverty alleviation.

The reporter saw in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County that during the relocation of poverty alleviation, Mengwu Miao Village, located in the deep mountains of northern Guangxi, was relocated to the vicinity of the county town as a whole. The local party committee and government, in light of the needs of tourism development, dismantled the stilt houses where the villagers lived and transported them to the new site to restore and rebuilt. The new Mengwu Miao Village is integrated with the 4A-level Shuanglonggou scenic area next to it, like a pastoral landscape painting. The ethnic customs and tourist attractions are superimposed, and the Miao people have been lifted out of poverty.

In Guangxi, ethnic customs have become characteristic tourism resources. The unique farming culture in the deep mountains of Longsheng County has been preserved in a relatively complete manner. The layered terraced landscape and ethnic customs have attracted a large number of tourists. More than 200 households have opened more than 120 hotels and B&B inns in the villages, and they are all full during holidays.

“I am Chinese, I am very proud”

The Beijing people located in the Beibu Gulf region are a relatively small ethnic group in my country with a total population of more than 20,000 people. For a long time, representatives of Beijing have participated in the National People’s Congress. He Ling, a member of the Beijing clan, was elected as a representative of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The Beijing people are very proud to have representatives participate in the grand events of political life throughout the Party and nation.

Li Fuqiang, director of the Ethnic Research Center of Guangxi University for Nationalities, said: “Guangxi focuses on coordinating the relationship between upholding the Party’s leadership and regional ethnic autonomy. Under this premise, all ethnic groups are equal regardless of size or size, and all rights in all aspects such as politics and development are fully guaranteed and respected.”

At the same time, Guangxi also strives to coordinate the relationship between open development and ethnic cultural protection. Up to now, Guangxi has recognized 618 representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level, with 555 inheritors, and excellent national culture has been passed down. The Zhuang song and dance culture represented by “Liu Sanjie” has a wide influence at home and abroad. Luoyue culture represents “Huashan Rock Painting” and has become a world cultural heritage. Long Shenghongyao’s long-haired dance has attracted countless Chinese and foreign tourists… A few days ago, the Maonan Yinyun Arts Group of Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County held a five-day performance exchange in New York, USA, and was very popular. Deputy County Mayor Wei Luhua said: “While the Maonan people are accelerating their open development, the national culture has been well protected and inherited. Now the Maonan people are becoming more confident and willing to communicate with the outside world.” In Guangxi, by practicing the core socialist values, implementing the “Border Party Flag Red” project, and the “Border and Rich People” action, the sense of community for the Chinese nation of all ethnic groups is stronger. On the Sino-Vietnam border, the most beautiful scenery is a five-star red flag fluttering in the wind. Luo Wenfang, a 64-year-old Beijing-nation man from Chengwei Village, Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, got rich by engaging in border trade. Since 1988, he spontaneously raised a high flagpole in front of his home, insisting on hanging the five-star red flag every day, which has never changed in 30 years. Luo Wenfang told reporters: “I am ZhongChinese, I am very proud. ”
