Wang Hongxing said that according to incomplete statistics, during the Anti-Japanese War, the Eastern Column fought more than 1,400 times against the Japanese and puppets, killed and injured more than 6,000 Japanese and puppet soldiers, captured about 3,500 people, and seized more than 6,500 guns and 25 artillery pieces.
